Item: Mira Excel EV Thermostatic Shower
Recently got this Mira Excel EV Thermostatic shower. We have a history with Mira. We bought our first Mira Excel shower over 12 years ago when we had new central heating and a combi boiler fitted. It never let us down (until last week) and apart from having to replace the aforementioned plastic blanking plug a few times, it has given faultless service.

It kept blowing the fuse, had to get electrician back a few times.
Shower head has broke, shower hose is leaking, expensive but not worth it!

Altogether disappointed; the shower-experience is no longer exhilarating just OK. Wish we'd kept the 10-year old model which was working fine.

Mine has been going strong for 4 years so far. Never let me me down. Yet to see a better domestic shower. The only thing that has seen some wear is the flexi hose probably due to putting it through the holder. Recommend that you leave it
