I was making a Bavarian themed pub in my house and needed a glass fronted fridge to go behind the bar. I had considered proper bar chillers at £400+ but the size was just on the large side. I also considered 2 separate Husky mini beer chillers like the guinness or stella but they were too small AND they`re made specifically for cans. I was looking to stock 0.5 L size Weissbier bottles of beer which are taller than you average tin.
Bottom line. If you get one first time without damage you`re lucky. I read many reviews and some arrive bust and bashed. My first one did. Not the fridges fault just the garbage packing and the shoddy handling/warehouse attitude.
Fridge itself is spot on. I had initial concerns about the temperature as its being used for beer and NOT wine. Its spot on. An interior temperature gauge shows 4*C which is perfect and the beer comes out cold arnd crisp. Needs to be on the coldest setting for this though.
Noise isn`t an issue. I read reviews where people mark it down for the noise. Its a bit of a hum. Big deal. Its a fridge and you`d need to be one easily annoyed individual if a little humming irritates you that much.
Quality is good and the reversible door is great. For £190 its great value.
All in all a safe bet.
