I purchased one of their microwaves over a year back and recently had to contact their service centre to ask about replacement parts and such like. The person who took the call could barely understand me and it was the same for me this led to my problems going unresolved till I visited mty dealer and got the stuff sorted out. Hope their on-site technicians are better equipped to deal with customers. The product by itself is ok and I have not had a problem till date which is a good thing.

'Everything you might desire from a microwave is embodied in the LG.' This LG is very sleek with its fantastic electronic controls. It has everything you reall need; grill, oven and a fairly powerful 900W microwave and a charcoal lughter heater. It is also rather convient with 2 shelves and a drop down door system. I would honestly recommend reliable and robust unit to anyone looking for an all-rounded stunning microwave. A problem that might be faced by some buyers is that it is rather bold, so mught not fit some households well due to its black and stainless steel mix colour.

We purchased an LG MJ3281BCS combi microwave oven in store from John Lewis Solihull branch at a cost of £299 at the end of 2011. We chose this particular model as it appeared to be the only combi microwave oven on the market with a drop down door. However 3 months later the appliance completely failed to function. After 4 telephone calls to John Lewis who have been consistantly uncooperative & 3 further calls to LG I have now spent the past week attempting to receive some kind response. To date neither John Lewis or LG are prepared to address the fault, take our complaint seriously & have both refused to replace or refund the cost of the £299 appliance. After suffering a week of deliberately contrived obstructive nonsense from John Lewis & LG the non-functional appliance still remains in it's original box in our hall awaiting collection to be repaired. I have since forwarded my complaint to BBC Watchdog. For what it's worth my advice is don't spend your hard earned cash on this rubbish LG appliance or consider buying anything from John Lewis as both company customer care is non-existent. A very unhappy customer from Leamington Spa
