Item: Mercedes Benz C Class 180
I bought my 95 Mercedes c180 (esprit man) for 10,000 with 170,000km on the clock. One year and new clutch and drag link later (replaced original 12 13yrs old!!) and she runs like i had driven her off a showroom floor. Heavy but the engine doesn't have a problem. I recently comprraed it to the BMW equivelent (318i) and found for the same average price the c180 has more power and better steering, not to mention the lower maintanece. A very good draver for all driving standard and ...

My first encounter with a Mercedes started 18 months ago and I've never looked back...It's a car I've always wanted to own and the C class was just perfect in style, size, capacity, and badge carrying status....I have the 220 and it's about the right size for economy and power....Any smaller you would struggle for performance....any larger and you pay with heavy fuel usage.
I traded in my VW Passat after much deliberation as to what I was after...which was a bit of ooomph and ...

This is the last Mercedes I will ever buy, because of rust. There are rust spots all over this car and it seems I am not alone in this problem. I bought a Mercedes in the belief that they were indestructable and last forever but it appears that you have to buy a Lexus for that and that's where I'm going next. Mercedes do not deserve the premium they charge for their ...
