I have been a regular shopper of JoJo Maman Bebe both during and after pregnancy - but was absolubtly appalled at how both the staff and the customer services team recently dealt with a query I had - they would not let me use my voucher that I was given during my baby shower as I had one over the expiry date by less than a week - I hadnt realised there was an expiry date and as a new mum I had vouchers coming out of my ears and enough clothing and gifts to open my own shop. I therefore decided to save this voucher until my son was bigger and in need of the next stage of clothes. The customer response was absolubtly terrible - the main answer stating 'due to the natue of products sold an expiry date was necessary'I also informed them that it was hihly likely that I would have spent more than the voucher amount - but instead now they have lost not only myself as a customer but also a number of famil and friends as they too are unhappy with the handling of the situation!
I always thought of JoJo as a small friendly organisation but after the response I had - they appear worse than a large corporate organisation. I used to work for a large retailer in their Head Office and know for a fact that if an expiry date of a voucher was exeeded (especially only by a week) we would have honored the voucher so not to loose that customer and gain a poor reputation.
