Purchased two Tripp cases from Debenhams, after one holiday they have sustained damage and splitting on the edging bead. I understand cases get damaged, scuffs etc in transit, but for it to happen on the first use is a joke. The edging bead is obviously made of inferior, non durable material.
Emailed Debenhams, they passed me to Tripp, contacted Tripp and was told the guarantee does not cover this kind of damage, after explaining the material and case are not fit for purpose I have since been ignored. Great service!
Curently forwarding it to Consumer Direct and my local BBC Radio consumer show for their advice.
Will also contact Debenhams stating Tripps response and see if they will refund me.
Will never buy Tripp again, these expensive cases were supposed to replace my 15 year old ones which have been on over 100 flights and look brand new! I just needed larger cases. Tripp is far inferior to any case I have previously used.
