The combination adjustment is the most flimsy device I have experienced in over 40 years of possessing combination locking cases. To set it you must push and hold in a tiny plastic button. I used a tiny cross head screw driver. The instructions said "until it clicks" but I did not hear any click. I proceeded never the less to alter the manufacturers setting to mine and then to complete the setting as per the the instructions. I could not do it. The catch would not move to the left as required.Whilst wrestling with the screw driver in one hand and the catch in the other I somehow altered my chosen setting. Result: the lock locked with an unknown combination. Even though the case was open I had to go through most of the 1000 possible settings before I found the one that worked the lock, as unlike all other combination locks I have experienced you cant adjust from inside the case. Not happy with it and wont be buying another

Had exactly the same problem. Case open, pushed in the button, no click, catch wouldnt move and new code not set. Have no idea what combination has been created and am about to start the arduous task of finding that out
