Can I get a new lock for my suitcase as it got damaged on the way to my holiday so I had no option but to break it off?

I purchased a hard shell Tripp suitcase a couple of years ago from my local Debenhams store. I've just come back off holiday, after using the case for the first time, and on the return journey when checking in at the airport both handles broke off, just can away from the body of the case, making it unusable. I'm pretty sure I don't still have the receipt. What do I do? Thanks

You said it was couple of years ago,so I doubt your product is still covered with warranty.Best would be to check terms and conditions with seller.

I have just damaged my tsa lock on my brand new tripp holiday suitcase! What can I do to get it replaced?! The lock jammed up and wouldn't open. I have now got it open but it won't lock! Haven't even used it yet as I'm traveling in 8 weeks, any suggestions?!

I had a broken handle and asked Tripp if they could supply a handle. They told me that they don't supply spare parts, but to take my case to my nearest stockist for a replacement. I took it to Debenhams in Southampton and without any proof of purchase, they gave me a new suitcase. Definitely worth a try.

Problem solved by lubricating wheels > now gliding as good as new!

Bought two cases last year. On holiday in February one of the digital locks jammed and would not open. Is this covered by the guarantee please?

I have the Holiday llll Large 4-wheel suitcase. When it's laid flat for opening, there's a rectangular plastic device in the centre of the base on the outside - what is this for? It looks as though part of it should slide open but I can't make it do so and I'm reluctant to use too much force. I'm completely puzzled.
