For bag work and bag work alone, these are quite a good buy. They are cheaper then most proper bag mitts. Some may argue that they are not the correct boxing shape and type and so you are not getting used to the feel of boxing gloves when you practice. This is of course totally correct, but they are still great for getting up your fitness and would be good for things like boxercise ...

This boxing bag is perfect for working out and it is particularly good for improving your hooks, uppercuts and slips.
This Lonsdale boxing bag is a hardy piece of boxing equipment. The bag is very heavy and takes a fair bit of power in order to move it of to get it swinging. It is not like many other boxing bags which start swinging all over the place as you as you hand a couple of decent combinations.
