    I have had a very bad experience with LV. Had an accident in August this year, car went into the back of me while I was stationary and shunted me into car in front, mine was the only one damaged.     After taking out LV's offer of cheaper cover and having my car insured with them, it looked like a good deal.
    On claiming ( for 1 a burglary and 2 accidental damage)it was clear that the turn down your claim as a matter of course, they offer delaying tactics they invent twist and manipulate informat ...

    I had no problems with car cover,but since taking out contents cover after they offered me cheaper cover to change, it was at cost of their not honouring cover.
    I have put case to Ombudsman as so shabby treament offererd by LV constantly changing goal posts blatant lies and invetion.

    I recently made a claim when my dog injured his leg, once LV had received my forms one from an emergency vet and one from his own vet, I had both cheques within the week.     I have used Liverpool Victoria Home Insurance for a number of years, one claim in 14 years. I cannot complain on their service and I always find their quote competitive when comparing on a like for like basis.
