    I like the fact you can use a laptop to modify the sounds or build unique guitars but you loose the sustain and although it can sound kinda like a les paul it really cannot give off the same sustain. I know use traditional guitars for recording but uses these for messing around with. Hopefully oneda ...

    Unique, cool concept. But processed sounding if you have played the real Strats and Les Paul. Well made, great toy...excellent for recording functionality..

    The Line 6 Variax 500 has a good sound. The only bad thing about it is the weight, but if you need a good guitar, buy a Variax!

    I have been gigging regularly in a swing band (Goodman, Miller, etc.) and I have been able to dial in a nice, fat low end and still maintain lots of punch that the horn players really like to groove over.     The Line 6 LD150 bass amp sounds GREAT, and it has lots and lots of flexibility with its 4 amp models and synth, built in tuner and deep boost, direct out for studio or PA use, 150 watts, plenty enough for its 12 inch speaker.
