“Had to got to Visa for a refund”

I placed an order for electrical goods in July 2016. The order was significantly delayed and was only part received. It took 6 months to get a refund through my Visa card. They ignored calls and e-mails, refused to refund and messed me around no end. The worst on-line experience I have ever had. Avoid

“Shocking service”

The worst company I have ever dealt with, Light UP UK are taking our money, they accepted my order PIR sensor and confirmed however after a number of days where I had nor received the order or any communication I contacted them to ask where my items were only to be told that the goods were on order, I asked when the expected delivery would be but was told that they didn't know. I cancelled my order and confirmed this by email and requested my payment via Paypal be returned. I have since chased up the return of my payment and told that it can take 30 days to refund via Paypal!!!! I said that this was incorrect as we have never had this problem before however the woman within customer services said that they won't refund me and we will need to get the money back from Paypal! we have contacted Paypal only to be told that they will look into it! I have since checked reviews on the internet to find that this is not unique and loads of customers are waiting for refunds via various methods of payment and the items purchased all differ so I am wondering if they actually have any items and are just taking the money and not sending the goods!

“Taking money for non-existent goods”

I was not given an email confirmation for my order, and after three days I chased it up. You cannot get through to them by phone so had to leave a message via online form. They apologised for the lack of communication and told me that the items were out of stock. I now have to wait 14 working days for a refund, and my bank cannot do anything until that 14 days are up, which I am positive this company is well aware of! This company advertise goods which are not in stock, it is clearly wrong. The customer is left out of pocket whilst having to chase a refund, which they state takes up to 14 working days. We work for our money and they take it with the knowledge that goods are not in stock, it seems like a very crafty way to make money to me. I am sure all their other many customers who are left out of pocket will agree...it is a complete farce.

“Great service and excellent prices”

My order went in on a Saturday evening and the goods arrived well packaged on Tuesday. I ordered a set of brushed chrome switch plates for my newly decorated living room/dining room, which were a fraction of the price in the large stores and available in different sizes, which is not the case with the stores as they don't stock them. I would recommend this seller for excellent prices, good packaging and great service.
