“G9 LEDs”

These slim line G9led fitted very neatly into my light fitting only 20mm wide and give a very acceptable amount and colour of light. One of the eight bulbs I bought failed after less than one hour. It was replaced after three phone calls and five emails and a complaint of poor customer after sales service. To be fair Energy light bulbs said that they had sent a first replacement , must have got lost in the post. (read more)

I'm an "early adopter" of new technology like low energy lighting and the folks at EnergyLightBulbs have always had a good stock of leading-edge and sometimes bleeding-edge bulbs. I always say anybody can setup a shop front on the internet & start selling things for a reasonable price. That doesnt make them a good company, I judge a company on what they're like when things go wrong. With that in mind energylightbulbs.co.uk are terrible. I bought 2 20W E27 fitting bulbs from them, they took ages to arrive and when they did, they didnt work. I tried them in 3 different light fittings, absolutely nothing. Ordered Light Bulbs on Jan 21, 28th no parcel so emailed, 29th had no reply so phoned said would look into order and ring back no-one did in the mean time had reply from email asking if parcel had arrived? Thursday Jan 31 rang again this was told would send another parcel 1st class which arrived today Friday 1st Feb. after installing three low energy halogen bulbs to of the bulbs seemed to develop a flicker from the element and this caused the bulbs to premature age. I contacted energy light bulbs and they immediately offered to replace the defective bulbs and offered their apologies from initial complaint to response and resolution took no more than 10 min ( and even though it was a Saturday) this is truly great customer service. My order didn't arrive and I e-mailed the company to tell them. They responded to my e-mail straight away and asked me to let them know if the order still hadn't arrived after a few more days. When it didn't, they re-sent the order and it was delivered within a couple of days.
