I wrote a simple summary of our situation, which was a miscarriage of justice. made worse when the prosecution told the court to cancel our hearing, and withdraw the case, which meant that the judgement was not overturned, the only reponses were, sorry I do not understand, and "is there anything that you think would amount to peverting" having looked up the definition before going to the website, preventing a case being heard, disposing of evidence both are in the definition, every time a pop up was there asking us to accept an upgrade to a telephone call, for an extra charge of course. Not one single answer was given. totally unimpressed and would never use again, nor recommend. I cancelled immediately as nothing was answered and all they seemed interested in was me getting in to a higher charge bracket,

My Concern about Just Answer is that they provide none of the correct details about themselves that an honest business is expected to supply on-line. Having spent a long time on their website, I could not find their office base, the people who started the company, or any history whatsoever. It is a wonderful idea, however there is no proof, no land based contact offered, and no list of information about the people behind the company. So all I can say is that, until the website is updated with the correct and required information of any honest and reliable business - do not give them a penny!

I wish I had looked at this review site before signing up with them. I needed to fix my air conditioner. Looking at some of the conversations of previous users of justnswer.com published in various forums make it sound really good.So I went to their web site. "Ask your question" is how it begins. I did not realize this but the answer comes from the automated computer, not a person. The response asks you to self assess the difficulty of your question and if it is emergency or not. I replied "non-emergency and simple". The response tells you that there will be a charge of $16, "$5 good faith deposit now and $11 after you are satisfied". You pay then they tell you that "you will get 10 minutes for the $16 and will be charged additional money if it goes over that time". I had already paid so had no choice, there is no option of saying no at this point. Almost immediately "allheatman" responds saying "Hello, how may I help you". So, I write out my question. Then I am waiting, and waiting and awaiting. Waiting for the person to respond. 30 minutes later, I was still waiting to even get an acknowledgement from him that he was even there or he was reading my question. I was getting tired of the process. So I wrote "forget it, I am cancelling my consult request, consider me a dissatisfied customer". Then I get a reply "I have referred your question to another technician". What a joke. In spite of the fact that their rules said that I will be charged only if I am satisfied. However they had already charged me the entire $16. After I emailed to their customer service, they were very prompt to refund the money though. I think the web site should tell before taking any money that you will be getting just 10 minutes. One definitely cannot fix an AC in 10 minutes, not even trouble shoot it. Thanks for the opportunity to tell every one.

I used just answer to enquire about an antique, paid my fee. got someone an hour later who doesn't know about antiques, and...is based in the USA???!! and doesn't know anything on 200 year old UK pottery! phoned customer service on the UK number only to get a strange voice in the country of manila!!! Forget a refund...you'll never see it. Watch your bank accounts as well judging from what people are saying. They are based in san Francisco, so cant be touched from the UK! There is no UK office!

I posted a technical question regarding a washing machine fault on justanswer and was promised an answer within 15 mins. As I didn't receive a response within an hour I requested a refund via PayPal and this was immediately actioned so I can't' give a rating on the quality of a tech response but the refund was immediately given so hence my 3 star review.

I wasn't happy with the advice I received from a local solicitor. I paid £28 to JustAnswer and received a clear detailed reply. I had to wait a few hours, and then I received an email.

Problematic company that can't, doesn't want to solve it's problems. Passwords that don't work Terrible company. Cant get ahold of anyone. CS in Philippines that are incapable of most basic help. Chronic ongoing problems with account. E-mail and charge glitches galore. What a shame. 1-2 star rating on "site jabber"says it all!

I asked a question about the wipers on my car...paid the £21....and heard...NOTHING. They took my money and IGNORED me. No...don't do it....they are hopeless. They didn't even bother to admit that they didn't know the answer or that it might take a little longer to solve the problem. I feel let down and certainly won't use this type of website again.

It's so easy to only decide to leave feedback when not happy with a service, so I have decided to leave positive feedback after another very excellent session with an employment solicitor from Just Answer. I am surprised at some of the negative reviews written. I have sought legal advice several times from this company and have always been impressed with how quick they have responded (even weekends / evenings when other legal experts cannot been seen for dust!). I have found them professional, friendly and great value for money (and customer only pays if happy with the service). Other forms of paid legal advice is so very expensive in comparison. Excellent - all round and highly recommended!

Just spent 20 minutes with my credit card company disputing the charge they levied against me for services not performed. Wasted about an hour with them on the phone where they were no help at all - they agreed to refund me for that - then I find out they have been charging me for every month since then. Just don't do business with JustAnswers!!!!

the info I got from the expert was fine but needed to ask follow up questions. I pressed the satifaction button too early and it would be better if the user was advised to complete the car repair or whatever before signing the advice off. In my case i got no benefit from the expert as I found I was working on the wrong car !

I used JustAnswer to get legal advice. For $30 I posted a clear question with supporting details that elicited a response that was considered and accurate, and it only took less than 2 minutes to get a reply. I saved thousands of dollars in legal fees and really got some fast piece of mind. The lawyer I spoke with was very knowledgeable and courteous. Later, I have had occasion to use their services for some advice on my Maytag dishwasher. I was truly impressed with the results. Again, I saved money by not having to call a repair person to my home. The expert even told me what part number I needed to buy and what the cost should be. Then he told me how to make the repair myself, with diagrams. The key is to understand what you are getting for your money, and to post a clear question with supporting details. Would recommend them highly.

JustAnswer.com's eminent Mac tech "iteachmac" saved the day when I had to restore my considerable and highly valuable iTunes library from my Time Machine backup! All back up and running now! Great work, people! :-)

I use the UK version of Just Answer. I have no idea how I came across this site but it has proved well worth its money. I infact do subscribe to a monthly subscription. If you need legal advice just like me and you earn too much money to get legal representation, then this is the site for you. It has saved me £££££££.
Its not just for 'LAW'. I've also used 'Just Answer' to ask about medical conditions and also about my Dog....all have proved to be 100% true.
I cant recommend 'Just Answer' enough. Brilliant website.
Am I getting paid to post a comment like this? Most definately not. I just wish to share my positive views on this site with everyone else.

I have used the justanswer site LOTS of times ... Its an absolute wealth of information with experts on line 24/7 whenever you need them for all manner of things !
If you are after advice / help on practically anything -just go on there and ask away...
The experts are qualified and verified and can help you !
Be reasonable - obviously if you have a health issue or an emergency or such like, it makes sense to get a professional "hands on" diagnosis asap - but it can help you immediatley and help you with the advice and help given on justanswer immediately.
From cars to medicine to law - and hundreds of others... its a gold mine of information and SO CHEAP to use !!!
I can't fault it at all - not with reasonable expectations...You Can't go wrong!! Give it a try - Its GREAT ;-)

I used justanswer.com for a veterinary question regarding my dog. She was having a sudden condition and I was quite concerned. I provided the symptoms online to a vet and got some thoughts that turned out to have nothing to do with her ailment. It cost me $18 and it was a complete waste of time. I took her to the vet and she got diagnosed with something completely different. There is no substitute for a physical examination or consulting a real specialist in person -- doctor, vet, attorney. There aren't shortcuts in life and you get what you pay for. I will not be using this site again.

I found this review not helpful because...justanswer says on their main page that it is no substitute for official visist to a professional - so this person should have taken that on board before just rubbishing... Some people expect top dollar advice - for as little as they can pay.... Too- the site says its offereing "advice" - not a definite diagnosis.. How can anyone "DIAGNOSE" anything- especially and animals health - ON LINE !!

Advice is the best that one can expect !! ( reasonably !) any fool knows that!

I am also disputing charges on my credit card for monthly membership/subscription that was set up by Just Answer. I got on the website which stated it was free then coerced into paying for the advice and only realised six months later that they have been taking money out of my account. I am still in the process of trying to resolve this. I am not aware of setting up any subscription with this company, just needed one off advice.
