I have been a subscriber of Outside Magazine for many years, I enjoy the vast majority of articles. My wife and I have two children who have graduated college owing no money. They are both in graduate school at this time.

What I do not need from Outside Magazine are recommendations to resorts that cost $500.00 per night. I cannot afford to be flown in by helicopter and I cannot afford silk sheets on a nightly basis. I wish that I could afford that type of lifestyle, I want articles recommending places to go for the middle income family explorer. We need to budget these explorations, it can be done so give us some advice on how to get there for the explorer who does not have "Powerball" money lining his pockets.
