My property chain has a deadline and it must complete by the 15th November 2013.
The contract pack was received by my solicitor on 30th October 2013 (Wednesday).
Today is 6th November 2013, an entire week later. They have not yet responded to the sellers solicitor.
The purchase will almost certainly be delayed as a result and if the other people in the chain are not prepared to wait past the deadline, I could lose out on this house.
If they are understaffed then they need to pay overtime or get some extra staff, but it appears they are happy to let customer service suffer.
