I have decided to register for VAT and submitted my VAT application via website www.companiesmadesimple.com
I received some automated email instructions. I filled in all papers and send them to their address in London.
I was not getting any response so I send them an email asking if they received my application. They said it takes up to 4-6 weeks to look at my application and send it to HMRC but their website states it takes up to 4 weeks to receive a VAT number. I was furious because could not register with any wholesalers without my VAT and I was convinced it only takes 4 weeks to get one.
6 weeks had been gone and I had no response from them. You cannot imagine how furious I was. I asked them for a refund and spoke to my accountant to do the VAT application for me. I received a response from companiesmadesimple after 3 days and they said that they never received any application and its okey for them refund the money but they will charge me £10 administration fee for the problems I caused!
I didn't even get an appologie from them
I warn everybody who wants to use their company registration services!
