I recently went in to Ideal Image for a consultation during their 50% off sale. I knew laser hair removal would cost a lot but thought that 50% off would certainly help me (a college student) be able to afford it. All I wanted done was the full brazilian, minus the butt area. They had said they personalize a package for everyone based on the location, size of the area, and type of hair. The only question they asked me was the color of the hair, which all I said was dark and they determined I would need 9 treatments at $499 a piece. Putting the grand total at $4,491 for a brazilian. So half off still left over 2k for me to pay.Of course as soon as you decline they talk about payment plans but personally I was not willing to set up a payment plan for hair removal. If you have this kind of money for laser hair removal then go for it. I really do believe that it would have worked for me, but of course I don't know for sure. I found an at home laser, Tria, that I am going to give a try. It has better reviews than Ideal Image anyway so that is a good sign!

I went in for my free consultation today, and I am not planning on coming back. The sales person was so fake, telling me she'd give me a 50% discount and not to tell anyone in the office...blah blah blah. Staff they could have told me on the phone. They said personalized package...BS! the rep didn't even looked at my skin!! how can the packages be set up based on each person's needs, if they don't even take a look at you skin and hair type closely?? Price quoted is too high, and after the whole "I can only give you this price TODAY" thing, I was just annoyed and ready to leave.
Anyway, I also found out about Tria, and I was thinking of giving it a try.. I see you posted this a while ago, and I was just wondering if you ended up trying TRIA and if it has worked for you? Thanks!!!!
