“Good specification poor reliability and build”

Written on: 09/09/2013 by sjhartland (24 reviews written)

Initially I was impressed with this laptop - good specification for the money. However I can't recommend it as there are too many shortcomings - reliability was poor. Specifically the volume buttons rarely worked, the page down button had a mind of its own and more annoyingly the laptop often failed to realise it had a battery and would just die with no warning. This would require removal of the battery compartment and removal of the battery after which it would usually reboot as normal but takes ages. Went back to Fujitsu 3 times but they could not or would not fix it. Shame as this is quite a nice laptop but spoilt by poor build quality. I won't buy a Fujitsu again.
