My partner and I went for the sunday lunch buffet, when we arrived we thought the restaurant was busy. We were shown to our table and then noticed all the other diners, about 30 people, were a christening party. We were the only diners in there besides them. We ordered drinks but felt extremely uncomfortable like gatecrashers! We drank our drinks and left. I told the lady who took our drinks money why we were leaving. There was no apology but she said there were more diners expected. This was at approx 3pm so I doubt they would have a lunch time rush so late in the day.
I don't think we will be going back and I would advise the management to close if they have a private function.
