Logik LCX27WN2 I bought this TV in good faith because it was a good price, or at least I thought so at the time. Soon after getting it the headphone socket stopped working and then after another few months the sound quality became unstable and now aft6er just over a year it has developed wide dark stripes down the left third of the screen. Looking at these other reviews I discovered that the TV quality is Disgusting. It is the worst TV I have ever owned. For your sake do not even contemplate getting one. Mine is now just out of warranty so can;t return it. I was willing to put up with so much through laziness but I had to complain about the stripes. Wish I had found this site BEFORE I bought it.

I have bought this tv 20.09.2013 and 24.09.2013 developed a fault -some strange lines at the bottom of the screen (with or without antenna connections). Picture very poor quality with couple of lines following motion objects . Avoid this tv is wasting of money.

I have purchased a TV from Logik before, and it was appaling! The cable wouldnt fit, started to break after 6 months! Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LOGIK, IT IS A COST-CUTTING COMPANY AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE! I cant name anything that I liked about it! When it worked it wasn't bad, but I dont want to say "when it worked"! I dont think it is unreasonable to expect something that you have bought to work! When the cable comes out the back, which a sneeze can cause by the way, it is near impossible to put it back in and for the TV to work. I have spent endless hours trying to wiggle the cable in, getting more and more frustrated with it each time. Although it may be the cheapest option in many cases, it is the worst. Want my advice? Spend a little bit more money, and get something branded, for example Sony or Panasonic. Logik are a company from Curry/PC World, that make the cheapest TV with the cheapest equipment, and sell it for only a little bit under the average price, WELL YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LOGIK! EVER!

had logik 26" with built in dvd and freeview for 3 months now. as many have said, the sound is dreadful ( a surround sound system may help ), picture is just OK. Not for a living room. Bedroom maybe! If you have got say, another 30-40 quid buy another make, it,ll be worth it in the long run! If your eye,s are not as good as they used to be, you can forget about trying to read the details of programmes on the bottom of screen without binoculers! Tinny and depthless sound. viewing from an angle you will see the picture 'clouds ' - therefore if your room is more than say 12 x 12 feet, forget it! save a few extra quid and go up a grade with another brand!

Great picture and easy, simple controls. Sound generally not particularly good (not stereo). Had to take back for replacement twice to Currys due to intermittent interruption in sound, really annoying, especially when listening to music. Maybe manufacturer fault. Shame as otherwise good value. Won't buy this make again or recommend.

my brother bought my mum for christmas a logik from dixons ,i think its a 27" with dvd and freeveiw ,from the minute she turned it on the sound was appalling it sounds like a transistor radio stood in a biscuit tin, we are unable to get any bass from it,the sound is very anoying so we decided to complain about it, i thought it might have been due to the flat small design but my girlfriend bought her mother a luxor 22" with dvd and freeveiw from asda and that sounded much better and the user controlls responded well. anyway we took it back to dixons 3 days ago , we were led to believe by dixons call centre that they would exchange the tv no problem, but at the shop they said if you bought the tv more than 60 days from when you bring it back you have to leave it with them for repair and you have to collect it from them when it`s fixed. it`s a good job my 73 year old mother has her kids to pick it up for her. that`s already a couple of minuses to them i hope there is`nt any more ,here`s hoping.by the way i have a panasonic 39" from tesco it`s great ,i wouldn`t even use a logik to hold my toilet door open.

We bought a Logik 24"TV with built in DVD from Currys for our bedroom to replace our Philips TV which performed well but did not have built in Freeview From the start we failed to get any BBC stations so after 2 days took it back to our local branch of Currys, who insisted it was OK and frankly were very rude and unhelpful saying it was our tv aerial at fault. We took it home and tried it again and failed to get any reception. We then took the TV to another branch of Currys who tested it and they also failed to get any reception. The assistant admitted that it is a common problem with Logic TV's and that they are very poor quality would not recommend them. What on earth are Currys doing selling such rubbish? We wont be buying anything from them again!

I know it's really old now but I came across these reviews and just thought I'd say that I have had this TV for nearly 6 years and it works perectly. I've not had a single problem with it.
And it was cheap...

My 1 year old LOGIK L17LID648 (purchased in Curry's)has had sound problems from only a few weeks old, with the sound level raising itself to very loud levels all of its own accord for periods of time and then going back down again. After about 6 months the sound became permanently totally distorted and 'hissy'. These TVs are a total waste of money. I'm disgusted. Had I known that Logik TVs were so bad, I would not have purchased.

I bought a Logik tv from Currys just under 3 years ago. From day one it has had problems. After it has been on an hour I can't get the tv guide up it just keeps telling me there is no information. Now the remote has packed up and the tv keeps turning itself off it you change the channels manually.

I bought a Bush 22" flat screen LCD TV & DVD about 15 months ago from Argos, the picture was very good but not long after the warranty ran out the sound started to go off and on. I took it for repair to Grays of Bentley who wanted nearly £100 to repair it. I decided to take it away from them as they did not give any confidence in their report and gave it to a more capable repair service who then stated that Grays of Bentley Doncaster had caused more damage than it would have been before they had it. I now have no TV as I am informed it could cost more than the TV is worth. I now have no confidence in Bush LCD TV's nor in Grays of Bentley as TV Repair services

Bought my logik lcx27wn2 in 2005. Just got back off hols and the damn thing has no picture or sound!!! It does have sound on the info channel, but not regular TV.
It has always (from being new) frozen with a neon pink screen which happens once every 6 months or so. This usually happens when I have just put my pin number into watch a sky box office, but taking out the scarts, and cables and putting them back in a few times sorts this problem out.
Having read a few rewiews,I think I am just gonna head off to Asda and buy a new CHEAP one. Cut my losses and not stress about repair costs!!

Our Logik TV is playing up and is just over 12 months old. I am taking it back to Curry's but everyone in the UK should note the Sale of Goods Act and what it says about durability. If there is a fault that isn't a result of wear and tear, there is a good chance it was there at time of purchase (particularly as many people on this site have similiar problems). The Act recommends around 6 years as a reasonable time for a product to last, but you could even argue a TV should last longer, especially if it has limited use. Currys would have to repair (and pick up the set, under the act (I think)), or give you a proportinate refund for the fault, or give you a replacement set of the same age (working, of course). Google Sales of Goods Act and check it out. This is irrespective of warranty - the Act overides contract.

Am sorry I just bought my logik tv from curry but when I ask about parts and repair they said that it does not comes with a warranty so I had was to pay for three years, After I got home I decided to just look through the reviews and it does not sound that good, so I decided to take it back tomorrow morning before I open it, I do not want to have these experience as other people have, they all sound too familar, am sorry I wont take any chances, I will be buying a brand name once and for all, it may be more expensive but I rather have no regrets later. Thanks guys for your reviews.
