It all started with the initial fitting of the Magnet kitchen being delayed, but that was to be the least of the problems.
All the cupboard doors were at different heights, the washing machine was banging against the sink, the dividing panels on the sides of the washing machine and the dishwasher were loose and were set back and not flush with the front of the doors, the hob was not fastened down and the \"expensive\" magic corner shelf unit had the door handle fitted on the wrong side putting strain on the fixings.
We have had at least 9 visits from three different fitters, and we are still waiting for another visit to fix a plinth which was left loose after the last visit.
I get the impression that Magnet hope that if they do nothing the problems will go away of their own accord. It has taken numerous phone calls to chase and find out what was happening (or more likely what was not happening) - promises of call backs/visits were constantly broken.
Excuses include waiting for parts, can't get hold of the fitter, the fitter
having transport problems and that they thought the problem had been sorted.
A very very very unhappy customer.
