The team were faced with a very difficult and challenging job, due to the angles in my room and the walls not running true. They have managed to tile the room in such a way that they have minimised any wastage of tiles and I am left with a superb job. The fitters were very friendly, professional and trustworthy and I was happy to leave them in my home when I wasn't there. I even gave them a let to let themselves in and out as required. “All Contact has been VERY Positive”

Found an oven (just what we were looking for). Good price and although we were many miles away (nearly 200), the contact and offers of service were very positive. The oven was ex-display with all manuals etc., but with no packaging, so they offered to send it in their own van. We decided to have it fitted by them, so they delivered it by their fitter, who installed it very carefully. All contacts were very nice people - a pleasure to do business with them. Would recommend. I ordered an AEG Freezer. They had the best price I could find. Barras were very easy to deal with a really personal level of service for an on-line company. The freezer I wanted was out of stock at AEG, but they gave me a 2-3 week delay. This proved very accurate and it was delivered on time exactly as arranged. They also gave me a 5 year warranty free of charge and £10 off my next purchase. A really excellent service. (read more)

We chose Barras after spending a while looking around for the best price on this product. We weren't disappointed - telephone ordering was courteous and simple, James kept us informed about delivery dates, and the goods arrived on time exactly as advertised. This was "supply only" so we can't comment on the design and installation service from Barras, but based on this experience we would certainly deal with them again. I ordered an AEG washing machine and not only was it considerably cheaper than other appliance sites the service could not be faulted. Kept informed of a delivery date by Barras and then the delivery company gave me a four hour delivery slot with the driver phoning half an hour to arriving. I bought a new AEG dishwasher,AEG designer hood and an AEG fridge freezer. Barras were cheapest by far for all three items and did not charge delivery to Scotland. Almost a miracle. I was kept informed at all times about possible delays but none occurred. Delivery was as expected with a courtesy call the next day to ensure I was completely happy with the service I had had. Having spent a long time (months) reading appliance reviews we finally decided to buy AEG products for our new kitchen. As we were on a very tight budget we then spent weeks finding best price for a double oven, hob and splashback. This was where Barras outshone all the big internet players and we saved a substantial amount by buying our appliances from them. Ordered an AEG double oven from Barras.co.uk that I had to cancel elsewhere as it was not delivered for weeks. Asked over the phone when they could deliver it by - was promised the following Thursday. This was great as due to the delay, our new kitchen was ready for it. However, on Thursday, somebody from AEG called me and told me they can only deliver the following Tuesday. Wasn't happy as I had the joiner and electrician booked to finish the kitchen that week. Barras had the AEG Appliances I wanted for the best price online (and in stores) that I could find. I telephoned Barras and spoke to Gary who checked everything was in stock before I ordered online. There was also a complimentary 5 year guarantee. After ordering I received several emails from Gary keeping me informed on my order. Could not fault Barras on price of AEG double Oven, saved over £150 to High Street prices and definitely cheapest price on web. Delivery super quick within 3 days and lovely touch with courtesy call a couple of days after delivery to ensure everything was okay. When I called BARRAS out of curtsy, I had such warm and welcoming reply from them that I place an order for a appliance which I had already ordered from John Lewis with a lot less complication and cancelled John Lewis one. Not to mention that it was %15 cheaper than John Lewis. Barras is No ! in my list and will recommend it to every one. (read more)
