  This is my third KitchenAid KUIC18PNTS KitchenAid Ice Maker. I LOVE the ice it makes....when it works. I have always bought the extended warranty and used it hundreds of times. This will be my last KitchenAid ice machine I buy. I have had nothing but trouble with it after spending 1700.00 for it. I have been without ice more than I have been with ice in the 18 months I have owned this particular machine. The first two were not quite as bad...but overall I had lots and lots and lots of service ...

  My old food mixer died after 42 years of use, not bad, but I really wanted a more efficient one so I did a bit of research and found the Kitchenaid Artisan 5KFPM770. What a machine, it is quite heavy so it has to stay on the worksurface but it is beautiful looking. Mine is Red, but you can get lots of other colours, about 12 I think.   Stunning, Strong, robust, fast. A pure joy to use, tried and owned others but this beats them all. Worth every single penny. The burr motor is perfect too and worth having. the blades and various settings work perfectly in that you dont have to shake the blender or wiggle it to loosen down some food to blend. just push the button and its done in a flash. Brilliant product! Very easy to clean too plus dishwashable parts. the jug even pours well without mess. I use mine for blending ...

  the KitchenAid KSB5 looks great and is a great blender, but 1st time I used it (I bought the cream one) the lid cfhanged colour as I had blended a pasta sauce with tomato, it turned orange! - I Wouldnt buy the cream one
