I purchased this kettle which was not cheap, the lid is made from plastic, very tacky, it is noisy. Within a few weeks it started to look very tatty I then discovered it was because the paint was peeling off, I contacted Morphy Richard who sent me a replacement, I promplty sold it on ebay and purchase a decent kettle. What a waste of money. Quality certainly not that expected from a well known company. Steer well clear of this one.

I only gave it one star as I could not enter zero!
