“Design concept good but durability a joke -not fit 4...”

We were given one as a Christmas present, unfortunately without the receipt, otherwise I would be beating a path to Comet's door to demand a refund!. Within a year the pop up lid stopped working and within two years the lid catch would open of its own accord during heating up leading to excessive steaming and delayed switching off (if at all).
We have gone back to using our good old faithful Russell Hobbs!
