For a kettle that costs the best part of £80, this product performs very badly. Our first one leaked boiling water (from the reviews I can see this is common), and the replacement developed a faulty lid catch (again, from the reviews, also common). Unfortunately, this happened just after the warranty ran out on the original purchase. Since Magimix don't count the replacement as a product in its own right for warranty purposes, we aren't covered by warranty despite the fact neither kettle outlived the warranty period. Obviously there are serious problems with this product which Magimix are failing to address.
