Obviously this kettle has a design fault. The filter system works fine, if a little slow. The main problem with this kettle is leaking. I have found leakages from the handle area, I have burnt myself a couple of times with the water vapour escaping everywhere, and the the base of the kettle is even worse. I cannot understand why there are so many leaks on a nicely designed kettle. I do not use the kettle now. It's use at the minute is solely for water filtration as I still have a few filters left, After they are used up the kettle will disposed of. I will never buy this kettle again no matter how cheap the price. It is dangerous, and with so many reviews saying the same thing...Should make your mind up.
