“bad taste from the water”

i had this machine a week and noticed that it had some sort of white silicon inside and it says that its power is 3kw ive got a cheap fiver kettle what uses less than that it used 2200 kw so how are we saving money on the electric

Because a 2.2kw kettle will take LONGER to boil water than a 3kw kettle. The saving you are making is that it ONLY boils the 250ml of water you are using. Most kettles need to be filled with more than 250ml of water - hence you are wasting money if all you need is a mug of water.

it uses 3kw for a shorter period of time as its heating a smaller volume of water than a kettle, if you heated 1 cup of water in a kettle it brakes it so you always have to heat more than you need
