Great service, nice pub. However I suffered with food poisoning and spent the night vomiting after eating here. I was expected to provide a stool sample and a doctors confirmation before they would even offer an apology, which I was not willing to do as spent enough of my weekend being sick let alone finding an out of hours doctor too. I would personally avoid.

Visited the moat today with my wife who is coeliac she ordered the chicken avacardo and bacon salad stressing she needed gluten free. I ordered the steak and tanglefoor pie. Firstly the the salad came out with croutons ( a definite no no ) and also came out with the honey and mustard dressing which we had been told on a previous visit contained gluten. My pie was really nice but the portion of mash was extremely small, I wouldn't even say child size portion. Very very disappointed
