A party of us ate here on New Years Eve and had a really terrible experience.

The restaurant was packed (as you'd expect) but it was immediately clear they were very under-staffed. Either the owners had been badly let down or they were being greedy by not hiring enough staff. I think I can guess which one!

It was a limited set menu (which after all is for the restaurant's convenience, not ours) so we were shocked when many of our 1st choices of starter or main were not available! We waited over an hour for starters to arrive and more than an hour between starter and main course. When the food did eventually arrive it was pretty awful and the lamb that some of us had was inedible. We sat down at 9pm and were only getting our desert at 12.15! It was very apparent staff were more interested in serving drinks than food. When we finally got our bill we complained and had some money knocked off, but by then the evening had been ruined anyway.

The atmosphere was chaotic and quite rowdy. Too many tables and not enough room.


We will never go back. Avoid like the plague!
