Item: KEF Cresta 2
My KEF C2 are at mechanic for speakers . But they have 6 years experience of hardcore-rock-chemicalb.-nin-......... abuse . And during 6 years they were part of sound monitoring system for video editing . Now they are on refreshing ... and I can't wait to hear my precious again

Item: KEF Cresta 2
I use the KEF Cresta 2 speakers with A 35w/channel Svetlana EL34 valve amplifier... incredible bass depth and control, the highs are silky smooth but are very limiting before presenting certain harshness. Sound is incredibly spacious with more than enough 'air'. Its 2008, these things were made in '96 .....brings the majority of todays bookshelves to shame. Other equipment i use, Arcam 32, Bowers Wilkins Dm ...

Item: KEF Q5
Bought the KEF Q5 as a cost effective (£219) upgrade to my old Q35 speakers. Vastly improved depth to sound stage and much better bass extension. Took some time tune the bass for my room by adjusting distance from back wall and using foam plugs supplied by KEF for the front and rear ports. Ended up using half a plug in each of the rear ports, otherwise the headroom is lost.

Item: KEF iQ3
I have replaced 20 year old Celestion SL-6 pair with KEF iQ3, after eliminating MA BR2, Wharfedale D9.3, Dali Concept 2 and some others. At first KEFs were a bit "thin" and boxy. After 10 days of working out and some repositioning in the room, I have found deep satisfaction with KEFs. Do not place them on bookshelf - I have used sand filled iron pillars (each 20 kg) and put them 25 cm from rear wall - as room demanded.
