I play this saxophone in a saxophone quartet. Overall I find that it sounds a bit tinny, this I hasten to add has nothing to do with my playing as my alto which is not a jupiter produces a lovely richer sound. The metal is quite thin, and the key work clunky. It is also out of tune with itself, flat ...

this saxophone is ok. it doesn't have horrible sound quality but the sound is not full or warm like you would want in a saxophone. the case is bulky and heavy, not the kind of case i would prefer, but again not horrible to the point of being unbearable. I found my jupiter sax would break more often ...

Both my children started on this Jupiter 565 GL alto sax. and found it very good. We did however upgrade the mouthpiece which produced a better sound.

Excellent value for the money.I am on my second one (silver plated) although the sound seems slightly brighter on my older laquered model.Why pay the price for a Benge, you won't notice any difference!
In my opinion, Slightly difficult for young hands to hold comfortably.

This sax has many pro features for a fraction of the price. The tone is mellow and very middle of the road, so it's easily adjustable with any given set-up. Throw on a Jody Jazz, and your wailing, or slide on a fatter MP and your in for a mellow session with a concert band. The key work just flows, ...
