Good points: the machine juices well enough, I suppose. Bad points: fruit and veg gets stuck easily, the citrus press is terrible - about a quarter of the orange stays untouched inside the skin - and, worst of all, it can take up to half an hour to clean. Bits of food stay stuck on the drum no matter how much water I use, which is a lot. I wouldn't mind, but on the box it quite brazenly boasts 'Easy to clean!'. This was one of the reasons I bought it, and it turned out to be a total lie.

Good juicer and lovely results. Looks good in the kitchen and not much chopping in preparation. I've sent it back twice to the manufacturer though when the centre spinning element burnt out and mangled up. They have now replaced the whole thing. But my biggest gripe by far is the amount of water required to clean the basket. There really is no other way of cleaning it other than pouring litre after litre of water through it. Crazy!

back to manufacturers who have now repaired it =

I had one of these machines a few years ago and just couldn't be bothered to clean it so hardly used (sounds lazy but its rediculas spending 30 minutes cleaning a juicer). Its now in storage and I have bought a basic braun model which I have used far more because its so much easier to clean (about 5 minutes) - though the braun doesn't get out as much juice this isn't a major concern as I'm juicing for one.

The best machine for juices. Great extractor for fruits and vegs. I think Magimix Le Duo is the number 1 in centrifugal extractors. The only downfall is that it's hard to clean, but for the juice it produces I'm very pleased with it anyway.

I think the Magimix Le Duo are the best juicers on the market and it's a very neat machine. I like how easy it is to use and wash this Magimix juicer. I love it.
