“They have their problems, but they are ok”

I'd be the first person to put my hand up to being disappointed by Vivatic at times - customer service is just about non-existent, but they are addressing that now; and there is hardly a week that goes by that they don't have a glitch with tracking etc. But does this make them the baddies that some on another review are making out? No.

Vivatic are still a good site, and one where you can clock up some money in a reasonably short time. Ok, we can't all be eligible for every survey, but then that is the nature of survey taking anyway. Those who are in it for "making money" are on to a loser straight away, as taking surveys is not a job, it's just a way to earn a reward - not a wage - for giving up a little of your time.

There are no truly fantastic survey sites - all of them have problems, and all are likely to screen you out much of the time. So what do you do? Behave honestly and with integrity; keep within the boundaries of your membership; read terms and conditions carefully before signing up to avoid any upset further down the line; and accept that you are not always "right" when a dispute over something arises. Above all, just enjoy it.

Vivatic offer more than just surveys as a way of making money, and I've been lucky enough to cash out over £100 and up to £200 per month (£200 just the once!) across several months for writing articles and taking surveys.

I'd tell anyone considering signing up to not be put off by the negative hysteria you are witnessing on Facebook etc - sign up and enjoy it. You have nothing to fear if you are honest, and behave appropriately.

The amount you claim you have cashed is contradictory to the T&C's of Vivatic as according to these, you can only claim £25 at a time and this payment takes nearly 2 months to reach you!! So you must be the only person who has been able to get more than the £25 at a time, again according to Vivatic's terms and conditions.

I am glad this is a public forum so that others can read the nonsense that I have been reading on here and the ridiculous and sarcastic statements that you have been making and they will be able to make up their own minds about Vivatic and who is genuine and who isn't!!!

Leave him to it Sagittarian03 - the more he says, the more of a fool he makes of himself. Interesting that he keeps harping on about multiple accounts though - and thinking that I and my partner are the same person. A child could work out that we aren't - he wouldn't make much as a private investigator !

Langley77's posts were quite out of order. There was certainly no need for some of the comments made. I don't need someone to tell me to get a life, when they have no idea what my life involves. Balnced is good, no problem with that, but the comments that were made were distasteful. There was no need to call me "dear" and "luvvie". Nor do I need to be informed the, "life is too darn short". The comments made to others on the thread were distasteful too. If you and Langley are happy with Vivatic, then that is great, however, others are not and are entitled to comment as are you and if you do make this amount of money with Vivatic, you should be happy and long may it continue.

Actually, you can only cash out in chunks of £25, yes. But you can make as many £25 claims as you wish, provided of course you have the money in your account. Vivatic's articles pay anything from £4 to £30 - but most are around the £10 mark. There are several of us who write articles for Vivatic, and £100 is easily clocked up once you've done 2 or 3 per week. So, if you have done let's say 8 surveys in a month at £1, and 4 articles, for say, £12, you can make two payment withdrawals of £25 and leaving £6 balance to be carried forward to the next month. Maybe it's different if you only take surveys, I don't know. But I've always been able to make several £25 withdrawals in any one month, and I've been with them since November 2011. Also, it doesn't take two months to get your money either - I usually make my claims in the second half of the month, and the are in my Paypal account by the last working day of the following month For example, I made 3 £25 claims on 22 June for which I will be paid on the last working day of July - not two months. I appreciate that if you're claiming at the beginning of a particular month, then it will be two months you are looking at, but if you systematically made your claims at the end of each month, perhaps the waiting period wouldn't seem so endless? I would also like to add that if were not possible to cash out more than £25 in any one month, then I for one would not be working for money I couldn't claim.

I don't know why you are attacking this person for providing a review here. I don't know what to make of what's been happening on Vivatic, but that doesn't mean that neither I nor this reviewer, or anyone else for that matter can't talk about our own experiences simply because you are not having a good experience yourselves.

Please do not hijack this balanced review with the nastiness of the previous review.

Before you start making claims that why am I being "horrid" or "attacking this person" , I would refer you to the comments he has been making on my review where he has made personal and sarcastic comments and also said to get a life as life is too short!! I am well aware of that as I suddenly lost my husband at an early age. Furthermore, people take these surveys in good faith, expecting to get paid out on them, as if they are struggling to make ends meet, then they are reliant on these payouts. But when there are problems with payout and tracking on surveys, then of course people are going to get upset about this. You have only got to go on Facebook to see the amount of unhappy people on there who have either not had their surveys tracked and just had their accounts blocked.

I haven't had my account blocked, so I cannot speak for them, but I have had tracking problems and certainly, if I have funds in my account, then I expect to be paid out on what I have spent hours taking surveys on and which has taken more than a year to reach the target figure of £25.

Perhaps the best way is for everyone to provide information to BBC2 Watchdog and let them carry out an investigation and see exactly is going on, as obviously things are not right!

I think Vivatic are ok too. Not perfect. But neither is any of the other survey panels. People get deleted and blocked all the time. Chance you take i guess.

Vivatic is the only site I am with that has blocked. Every other one is fine and that is around 25 of them.

I know what you mean about the customer service, but they are addressing that now, so things should get better. It will be better than seeing some of the diatribe that comes from the psycho facebook element.
