10 days old & already black?

I hesitated buying Pandora because I have a gold charm bracelet, generic and half the price of the silver charms of a Pandora. But on my birthday 10 days ago i received a bracelet and six charms from a collaboration present.
the exposed chain on the ends with no charms is literally black on one side of the chain on both ends.
Also one of my charms, a silver heart with a crystal in it, is already dented and scratched just from the other charms.
I would much rather chuck this away and continue with my gold charm bracelet, it's better quality and cheaper because it's not a brand.
