“Do not go here!!!”

I wanted some extensive case and strap repairs carried out on my seiko kinetic.I went to watch labs as they initially quoted me a cheaper price than everywhere else. I had read some bad reviews previously (some regarding a particularly unhelpful assistant named Lucas) so i was a little apprehensive but the cheaper price made me give them the benefit of the doubt... Unfortunately they lived up to their reputation. After i was initially quoted £90 by one of the more friendly staff members for replacement of the case and the strap the previous week. Based on that price i bought my watch in for repair. This time i was served by lucas who was arrogant and not at all friendly from the outset. He told me that the previous quote i had recieved was wrong and they couldn't do it for that price. I then asked what price they could do it for. He quoted me £120 for the work. Since this was still cheaper than the next best quote (£150) I decided to proceed. 2 weeks after I had put my watch in I got a call from Lucas again stating that the previous quote he had given was then wrong and it would now cost me £150. He was not apologetic about this mistake and again came across as arrogant and obnoxious. He asked if I wanted to proceed and I felt that since I had already waited two weeks, it would be quicker just to let them carry on (boy was I wrong!).4 weeks after this i got another call from Lucas stating that seiko now don't have the parts in stock and there is an 8 week lead time (what the hell were they doing for the previous 4 weeks!). When my watch was eventually returned (14 weeks after I originally put it in!!) I was again served by Lucas who was again totally unapologetic and arrogant. He would not accept that watch lab was at all to blame for the ludicrously long time it took to replace a case and strap. Apparently it was completely Seiko's fault for running out of parts. When asked why the parts were not ordered as soon as I let them know it was ok to proceed he offered no apology and was totally apathetic.
Lucas needs some serious training in customer service and a step improvement in his highly arrogant attitude!
