Ripofflinks's review of Links of London

★★☆☆☆

“I ordered 2 charms online for my Sweetie bracelet....”

Written on: 27/05/2012 by Ripofflinks

I ordered 2 charms online for my Sweetie bracelet. They took 7 days to arrive by post despite a delivery charge of £6. One of the charms was faulty - the silver was scratched in 2 places. This was very noticeable, I can't believe they didn't notice when packaging it. I then had to post it back (they won't allow exchanges in store if you buy online) and wait for delivery of a new one. Links don't even include a returns slip when you shop online, you have to write a letter to them explaining what you want and why you are returning. A waste of my time.

The Sweetie bracelet I have does not have have the split rings on it to fasten charms to. I didn't know this when I bought it. So now I've had to go into a store to buy the split rings that fasten the charm to the bracelet. I may as well have just bought the charms in the store and got them fitted then. Instead ive wasted 2 weeks for delivery/returns/going to the store anyway to get the charms attached. And...They charged me £1 per split ring!! No explanation why they weren't already on there. And the manager was a miserable moody girl who couldn't give two hoots.

I left feedback online after Links asked for my review of their product. Because I included a negative review of their service they wouldn't publish it on their website!

The worst online shopping experience I've ever had and a pretty poor service overall.

I read one reviewer's comments about how cheap the bracelets are to make and it just made me feel a fool for falling for their hype! Shop elsewhere, this place is a rip off.
