am writing to express my shear frustration at the appauling service I have received at Goldsmiths Brent Cross store.
I brought my husbands Omega watch in to be repaired on February 14th. It wasn't keeping time properly. I was told the watch would be sent to Omega in Switzerland and it would take up to 6 weeks for the repair. The watch was originall purchased from Mappin and Web in Regents street and is only just over two years old. We do not expect a watch that costs nearly £4000 to break down in such a short space of time or at all.

I called on week commencing 6th April to ask what was happening and was told that they would look into it. I had to chase twice before I was told that they had had to wait for a part but it would be back with us by week commencing 13th April.
Then I get a call last week to tell me that when the watch was put back together it wasn't working. Well hello, it wasn't broken when you got it so I can only conclude whoever was fixing it broke it. Oh and they told me it was being fixed in the UK and not in Switzerland as I was originally told. If that's the case why would it take so long! So my assumption is that you have broken the watch as there is no reason on this earth why it would take nearly 10 weeks to fix it.
