  The X type estate is a very good family estate car. It is based on the Mondeo floorplan and drives very well. The 2.0 diesel is perfectly powerful for the job, accelerates well to 70 and still has plenty more after that. Mine is 05 registered, with 100k+ miles, high spec and adds a sense of calm and occasion to every drive. I have had it for a year and have covered 25k miles.
