We visited this restaurant with two young children. We had not booked a table and understand it is busy and run the risk that there is nothing available. When the waiter approached us his first comment was. We have no high chairs, we said ok. Then he offered us a table which was high with 4 stools at it. We had a 3 year old and 18 month with us. He just said that's it. That's all we have. The restaurant is split into two levels. This was on the upper level. In the lower level there was only one table being used. We were offered no alternate time. The attitude was take it or leave it. No accommodation for our party.

I had been a regular until my last visit. I had noticed the standards drop in my past three visits. This time after sending back my pizza twice because it was BURNT was getting beyond a joke. Nevertheless my wife finished her Pizza which was average. I was willing to give the place another chance until I got the bill and asked for my Wife's unfinished soft drink to be taken off as a good will gesture as I wanted to leave ASAP and get something to eat. When confronted by the Rude an arrogant owner (CHEF) who had no form apology and asked why I hadn't ordered a third Pizza! Obvious I thought!. I had said I was a regular customer who had in fact took my dad an the family for his birthday and recommended his resturant to other people. This fell on deaf ears as he shrugged his shoulders and said "So What!.He refused to take the drink off. So its was my fault I sent the Pizza back, his fault we will not be back. So if your looking for crap food at a reasonable price with below average service, this is the place for you.

wednesday 24th august 2011 we are two mature ladies who thought it would be nice to try this little restaurant when you walk in first impression was not very welcoming old style furniture scattered about at the top of the stairs a Chinese lady was standing my friend thought she was staff then realised she was just waiting on a carry-out downstairs was alot nicer seemed like a nice atmosphere we where met by a young waitress and told her we had not booked could we have a table for two there where 3 empty tables at the front one was a snug type my friend ask could we sit their oh no she replied we point to the other two tables and again oh no she offered us the worst table for two at the end where the staff would be walking up and down both sides i said no so then we asked could we sit on two high tables at least they where off to one side she said no the candles are lit at that we said we d sit upstairs she gave us the menus dident ask if we wanted a drink so we are now looking at the menu and theirs a smell coming from the kitchen like plastic burning we where prepared to put up with even that when in walked a family of four they ask for a table and where taken to the nice tables at the front downstairs still no one came to take our order we saw two menbers of staff running up and down from the kitchens with very dirty aprons it was only 7.30pm so we decided to leave when a girl appeared and asked oh are you leaving i told her their and then your service is GRAP so if they dident skimp on staff and had someone front of house who nos they might just do some more business

I do not intend to be mean but, being an Italian restaurant,I was surpirsed by the lack of Italian ingredients, one of those bein Parma ham. Also I was served an espresso which looked and tasted more like a black filter coffee. Beside that, the waitress were nice and helpful and I really liked the atmosphere.

We eat in Canos on a regular basis and have always found the service, food and atmosphere to be of a high standard. It is very reasonably priced and offers a friendly, inviting atmosphere.
If my family had their way we'd eat there even more often!!

I read the other reviews on this site. I eat in Cano's at least two or three times a month and have been doing so for many years. I have never had a bad meal.I have never had reason to complain. I can go with my girlfriend and child and we can have a starter, pizza, dessert and soft drinks each and it would not come to more than £30. I have tried Pizza in many towns and nobody can make it quite as nice as Cano's. The atmosphere is good in the restaurant and it is very child friendly. The staff are very polite. The only thing I could fault Cano's on is that they do not serve fresh cut chips.I have recommended Cano's to all my friends who all agree that it is great food at very competitive prices. I think the fact that it is always busy at the weekend is testament to their success. If the food was not good would people be eating there???

At Cano's Pizzeria, Pizzas are generally good, sometimes a bit burned. Deserts are nice, and a few nice pasta dishes.

Cano's Pizzeria, Dungannon, Tyrone is a good spot. tasty food, good wines, the perfect start to a night out! i've ate there a lot and have had no problems other than once i got the wrong order but the staff were very good and sorted it out with miniumum fuss. i'm happy to pay a small bit more for somewhere nice - though don't put prices up too high!!

Excellent food - Cano's Pizzeria might be a little more expensive than the chipper or pizza hut but its not your run of the mill pizza joint. Still feels like a nice night out. Packed at the weekends so you might need to book.

There seemed as though there was no atmosphere on my visit, I felt like I was bothering the girl who took my order. When I got home and opened the pizza it looked like a five year old had made it! It was burnt black! I was furious and would never recommend this restaurant.

The fresh dough used to make the pizzas is a delight to eat. And with the fresh toppings and bubbling mozzarlla the whole meal is a delight! The Canos Starters are lovely and set you up for meal! The whole night was topped off by a wide range of beautiful sweets and a friendly service all night!

Overall, we had good fun but this wasn't down to the service, food quality or price. It's very overpriced for what we go - really pizzas and garlic bread with not much to drink came to somewhere in the region of 27 pounds per head. Not a cheap night out.
They seem to be trying to save money but not realising that they would have a much better restaurant if they made a little less per person, upped the level of service and had a good feeling about the place. One toilet is also penny pinching in the extreme - lose another table - get two toilets.

It's taken me ages to read your review. Maybe instead of treating yourself to a pizza, you should treat yourself to a dictionary and punctuation workbook.
