I've been a bit surprised by the negative reviews on here but I guess people tend to come on here when they've had a problem rather than to praise!!

It's worth pointing out that smile/co-op bank are highly rated in surveys for bank customer service.

I've had a current account with them for 8 years now. I can't really find any complaints at all but I've marked the review down by one star as recently secure messages are not picked as quickly as theaiy used to be. They used to be answered in 24 hours, now it's more like 48-72 hours!! Not much use if it's an urgent issue.

I totally agree with your comments! I have been with Smile for 14 years and they are superb
