I have been with HSBC for a number of years. I have never had a good experience. Since I turned 18 and had my account upgraded to an adult one I have been hammered with charges and have ended up paying well over 7,000 in 3 years. That works out to be more than a years wage for the first two years I refer to. They have made absolutley no effort to help me in any way but rather send me lengthy booklets which essentially tell me I need more money and a higher priced account. I was charged just for ASKING for an overdraft. Around £17. The supposed 'features' of the bank randomly don't work at inoppurtune times and require an extrememly long expensive phonecall for them just to flick a switch and say 'it's all fine again, sir'. No, it's not fine, you've squandered yet more money out of me for absolutely nothing. If I make a mistake in my job, potentially people die, yet the 'employees' of HSBC somehow get paid more than me despite contributing to the downfall of British economy. If they make a mistake, I have to pay them to fix it. I would rather operate my account myself because at least I could rely on myself not to screw up. Then if I do screw up I can just pa myself to fix it. Supply and demand is the foundation of the more powerful, rich countries. Our poor service and selfish nature is what has ruined our economy, HSBC eppitomise this.

that's what you get for not reading Terms&Conditions of your account. Rather than blaming the banks, acknowledge that it is your fault and learn
