“Mortgage application”

Encountered a very rude, patronising, condescending individual called Stephen who thought himself a forensic accountant for a mortgage of £150k. With questions like "transaction x... What's this about?"... "This payee ... Who's this what's this for?". A Pedantic jobs worth who's attitude was horrendous. I understand affordability checks, however a courteous and friendly voice on the end of the line costs nothing - Dr F and Solicitor J.
