I don't think I have ever come across a more poorly designed and difficult to use piece of software. This is so counter intuitive and difficult to use - even when you are familiar with it.

The layouts are poor - it is difficult to see all the information you need without having to scroll horizontally as well as vertically (and despite the fact that the rest of the page is filled with largely irrelevant information.

The number of laborious steps required to complete even the simplest of tasks is quite astounding at times. Whilst I appreciate that the software has to be security conscious and transactions need to be electronically signed, the process is needlessly stretched out into a bewildering number of steps.

I think that the developers have done absolutely no end user testing whatsoever - or if they have - they have not listened to the results.

Given that this is the main way I interact with my bank day to day, it is making me think very seriously about moving.

Yes sadly I have to agree. We have been using Barclays BIB for years and had no problems what so ever. Last week our BIB was switched off and we were thrown into the myriad mess that is Barclays.net. We use it to upload files to pay suppliers. So far in our first week we have missed three file payments and sent one file twice - that meant we paid over 200 individual suppliers twice for the same orders. .net is a total nightmare. The interface is not ready for customer use. It is now very stressful and a total nightmare.
