Barclays is forcing business banking customers to move to their new Barclays.net Business Banking Software. I am sure the developers who designed this thought they were very clever but it is difficult to use, painfully slow and the enforced training (from a Philippine call centre) is virtually useless.
My financial controller spends 10 times as much time processing payments. I spend hours deleting and sending things back for re-processing due to complication and inconsistency of the system. When I delete a payment, I get a message telling me the payment has been validated and was left wondering if the money had been sent from my account or not. Truly, truly horrible software.
The entire experience has been so bad, we are seriously considering changing banks.
