Our old ING account was transferred to a Barclays online account. We were signed up to telephone banking so have a pin for this. For the actual account we have a pin plus a card and card reader. The link we had between ING to a NatWest account has been deleted so I had to set this up again, this was very complicated.
Whole process is a complete mess so I will now be closing this account and moving to one which is simpler and faster to operate.

Totally agree and we will be doing the same. We got into difficulties accessing the account to start with and tried their helpline. Hopeless - waited at least 20 minutes to speak to a human being on each occasion, and the help centre is evidently somewhere out of UK where English is not spoken clearly. Awful service, really, and we'll be off.
