Jungle Formula Family Lotion

“Nasty rash”

I had high hopes for this as lotion when we went to Crete last month. There were loads of mosquitoes and it didn't really work as we all got bitten. But worse than the insect bites was the fact that my 3 year old son developed a nasty rash after using it! I went back to the chemist & spoke to the pharmacist who said it was quite a common problem with Jungle Formula products for children. I obviously won't be using it again. (read more)

Jungle Formula Family Lotion

“Does the job”

Chose this 'family' lotion from the jungle formula brand, especially for its lack of smell. The others reeked of citronella & were overpowering - I'm sure the smell alone would keep mozzies away. the lotion has almond oil in it so its very pleasant to apply & only has a very light hint of almond which wears off over time. I have used this when in the Greek islands, I've gone without repellent in the Canaries & Balearics as I've never been bitten there. As I say I've only used this when... (read more)
