Got my Indesit IDL 530 from B&Q for £159 in a sale. Has never gone wrong in 9 months (touch wood), used twice a day. Has proved effective in all programmes, but I find the "rapid" setting does a great job on all but the most heavily stained dishes, and only takes 25 minutes! The dishes don't always come out totally dry, but that's no problem, I usually leave the door open for an hour or two before emptying the machine anyway. Item: Indesit IS70C
I was bought an Indesit IS70C Condenser Dryer as a moving in present by my mum 3 years ago. At first it was brilliant, easy to use and did the job. At around 2 years old, the door catch stopped working properly. It appeared the door had dropped on the catch side so it wasn't fitting as snugly, so when the clothes inside it pushed against the door the connection was broken and the dryer stopped. Item: Indesit IDL 530
In general the Indesit IDL 530 is good looking, but I feel it should have been more reliable. Perhaps I was spoiled by our previous machine which lasted 21 years. I have noticed that almost every dishwasher quotes the exact same power consumption, with all of them quoting 'A' rating, so the old rule of buying a more expensive machine that might save you on fuel bill, doesn't really apply anymore I think.
