Harrington Brooks is a professional debt management company helping a lot of people in dire straits. The saying that "there is always a first time" hits people heavily on the face when they are faced with a huge financial constraints. this is where companies like HB comes in to help people sort out their faiancial difficulties; they kind of absorb the stress that comes with dealing with your creditors directly (the endless phone calls and correspondence)and gives you a breather to concentrate in sorting out the mess that you've got yourself in and most importly to learn from the mistakes of the past. I am a different person now as regards dealing with my finances and wil be very careful in the future not to be in the same predicament again. My little concern with HB is their communication with some clients. As for my case, you get a lot of calls and emails if it seems you're behind in payments (even when you've paid in full) but on the other hand you don't get updates on certain issues you want them to look into on your behalf. For example, August 2011, I paid my £100 into the account and for whatever reason, I was told they didn't receive the money and nothing was paid to my creditors for that month. (I still want that money y'know). Also, my PPI with Abbey loans is currently being looked at but I'm still eagerly waiting to hear what's happening with the claims. Altogether, a worthwhile experience for me with HB. Thanks a lot guys!
